Purchase Community House

The Purchase Community House is the center of the activities in Purchase. The Community House is relied on to foster fellowship among Purchase residents and for wholesome activities that unite the neighborhood in loyalty and service to the community, the state, and the nation.

The Community House provides a wide variety of programs. Among them are: instructional classes in cooking, arts and crafts, electronics, creative crafts, science, nature, archery, carpentry, CPR, gymnastics, swimming, soccer, computer, fashion design, rocketry, model craft, baton twirling, first aid and safety, music, dance, sculpture, ceramics, sports fitness, and puppetry. Athletic leagues such as baseball, basketball, hockey, soccer, street hockey, flag football, and kickball provide opportunities for competitive recreational pursuits. Friday night open house activities and special holiday events add spice to the program. The Community House is also the site of excellent nursery school, day camp program, and birthday party program offerings.

Purchase has its own Fire Department, Post Office, Library, and Recreation Center with numerous activities, both indoors and outdoors, for the residents.
